Terms of Service
Effective: 19 May 2026
Welcome to Popcard. By using popcard.me (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Popcard turns videos, articles, books, podcasts, and notes into study cards using a large language model. You can review your cards, take quizzes, and track your progress.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for the activity that happens on your account. Don't share login details. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the source material you submit (YouTube links, text you paste, etc.) and of the cards we generate from it. You grant us a limited licence to process that content to provide the Service — including sending it to our LLM provider (currently OpenAI).
Don't submit content you don't have the right to use. Don't use Popcard to generate cards that violate someone else's copyright, harass or threaten anyone, contain illegal material, or otherwise break the law.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Don't scrape or automate the Service beyond reasonable personal use.
- Don't resell access to the Service.
- Don't impersonate someone else.
5. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't refund partial months.
6. Free plan limits
Free accounts can create up to 10 decks per month. We may adjust this limit; if we do, we'll tell you before it affects you.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
Popcard is provided "as is". LLMs can be wrong; review your cards before relying on them for anything important (exams, professional work, medical questions, etc.). We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll email you about material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
